Cheerful Dolphin Fountain, Mystic Seaport, Connecticut

Mystic Seaport — The Museum of America and the Sea — is the nation's leading maritime museum. Explore American maritime history firsthand as you climb aboard historic tall ships, stroll through a re-created 19th-century coastal village or watch a working preservation shipyard in action. Founded in 1929, Mystic Seaport is open every day except December 24 & 25. More than 300,000 people visit Mystic Seaport annually. Membership represents more than 20,000 people from all 50 states and several foreign countries. The volunteer corps consists of more than 1,400 people. — Mystic Seaport

And they have really good ginger ale at the seaport. This is the most important information I can pass on.

Hiker's Reward: Elevated View from Cathedral Point, Manuel Antonio National Park, Costa Rica

I hope you like the view, because it was really hard getting up here.

Manuel Antonio National Park, lying on the pacific coast 7 kilometers south of the town of Quepos between Damas and Matapalos, was created in 1972 at a time when the area was poised for massive tourism development, funded primarily by foreign interests. The land constituting the park had, by then, gone through several different foreign owners. Today, the park protects a beautiful remnant piece of the tropical forest that once covered a wide variety of marine life. This park has a remarkably long list of species inhabiting it: brown pelicans, brown boobies, tyrant hawk-eagles, gray-headed chachalacas, solater's ant bird, coatimundis, two and three toed sloths, toed anteaters, ocelots amongst others. — The Costa Rica Tourism and Travel Bureau

A full moon can be seen as it rises above the Atlantic Ocean, surrounded by a gentle pink and blue sky. The moon looks so much bigger when you are really there.
